Welcome to Tapas me the Plates. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our catering services in England. By accessing or using our services, you agree to comply with these terms. These Terms are governed by relevant UK legislation, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Food Safety Act 1990.
We provide high-end catering services for private and corporate events. Specific details of each service will be agreed upon through written contracts or invoices, in accordance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015, ensuring that all services provided meet reasonable quality standards (Section 49).
We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate dietary requirements. However, we cannot guarantee that our food will be completely free from allergens. It is the client’s responsibility to inform guests of any risks. We comply with the Food Information Regulations 2014, which require us to provide allergen information upon request.
We are not liable for any adverse reactions due to food allergies or dietary requirements unless specifically agreed in writing. We are also not responsible for any damages or losses resulting from unforeseen circumstances affecting service delivery. Our liability is subject to the Unfair Contract Terms Act 1977, ensuring fairness in contractual limitations.
Clients are responsible for ensuring that the event location is safe and suitable for catering services, as required under the Occupiers’ Liability Act 1957.
Any damages to our equipment caused by the client or guests may result in additional charges, in accordance with common contract law principles under the Supply of Goods and Services Act 1982.
We are not liable for failure to perform obligations due to events beyond our control, including natural disasters, strikes, or government restrictions, in line with the principles of frustration under contract law (Doctrine of Frustration – Law Reform (Frustrated Contracts) Act 1943).
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Food Safety Act 1990.
